Gretchen,

The villa was fabulous. We would go again in a heart beat. The place is called Six Shillings.

Hope that helps.

Looking to rent a house on Harbor Island with my husband and two kids. Did you enjoy the villa? How many bedrooms were there? May I get the information on your rental contact? Thank you!

Is the lighting in paradise always perfect, or do you simply have an excellent staff photographer?

I miss Binky, too. Due to the accidental acquisition of a geriatric, gentle, and gloobery English Bull Dog, I've been thinking quite a bit about the various domesticated house animals that I've known over the years, several of which were Tobeker. Binky was an adorable, kind, and sweet house rabbit.

For those of you who haven't ever had a pet bunny, they can be much smarter than you would think, and they have widely varying personalities. The best part is they are cute and fluffy and they don't smell anything like an English Bull Dog. (Bull dogs are loving sweet animals, too, but they require bathing at least weekly.)

If you are about to choose beetween a Bulldog and a Bunny, a Bunny is the way to go.

Sigh. Why did I know that you would post something like this?

I was very perky for the first 30+ miles. Then like a little dope, I stopped eating and had ran out of energy before Afton.

Add to that a little breathing attack on the ride out of Afton heading towards Stillwater. =(

But I was not a raving bitch. Only marginally bitchy.

I was all better after having some of Bill's maple walnut ice cream at Nelson's in Stillwater.

But was still pretty pooped by the time we got home. That is a long haul. And the temps were a bit on the warm side (mid 90's).

So there - that is the gory details. At least from my side of the story. =)
