Binky 1994 - 2005
October 28th, 2005
Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Binky. He lived a long and happy life with us.
I spent the day reflecting on his life and the empty place he left behind.
Ever since my first visit to the Humane Society in St. Paul when I saw him for the first time and, of course, couldn’t leave him behind. He has been a part of our little family. Untiil yesterday, when he had to leave us behind.
Goodbye Binky … we miss you.

I miss Binky, too. Due to the accidental acquisition of a geriatric, gentle, and gloobery English Bull Dog, I’ve been thinking quite a bit about the various domesticated house animals that I’ve known over the years, several of which were Tobeker. Binky was an adorable, kind, and sweet house rabbit.
For those of you who haven’t ever had a pet bunny, they can be much smarter than you would think, and they have widely varying personalities. The best part is they are cute and fluffy and they don’t smell anything like an English Bull Dog. (Bull dogs are loving sweet animals, too, but they require bathing at least weekly.)
If you are about to choose beetween a Bulldog and a Bunny, a Bunny is the way to go.
