Christine came to town

Last Monday I was lucky enough to get to spend the evening with Christine. As many of you know, she is my best friend from high school who now lives in California.
We had big plans to go to MoA and doing some shopping and dinner. But never got there. *snicker* Instead we sat around looking at pictures from the last couple years (been forever since we touched base) and talking about where our lives are now.
We did manage to get out to a nice dinner at Moscow on the Hill. It is one of our favorite restaraunts and I think Christine had a good time with it. The cherry vodka probably didn’t hurt either.
We finished our evening off with a drive out to Elk River to drop her off at her parents. It has been a few years since I was out to that side of town. All I can say is I’m glad she was with becuase so much has changed that I would have gotten lost. That is really sad. But true. Progress…..doncha know.
